The most significant result of any good trip, very, I would say, a stable marker of the "goodness" that and I want sasunci with avanturista (as opposed standardness, operativeness, predictability and blinkers under the motto "Mir — Nesvizh — Belovezhskaya Pushcha") is fresh thoughts that arise in the field of mossy ideas like collecting magnets and teaching of photos in social networks. And there is no harm in the fact that the application of these thoughts is not immediately found, that for a long time they are just thoughts.

Sometimes it seems to me that our Archie, when he refuses to show the way, unnecessarily shames communication with satellites-she has absolutely nothing to do with it. It's just that he's a naughty boy, on the same wavelength with the owners, they say, I'm offering you a new way to find an object. Indeed, the method is worthy of attention: you go into a roadside shop, you are amazed by the product, which, to her shame, cannot be found in the capital, and while the shopkeeper "lets go" of it, you ask how to get to the right place. And you hear a masterful description of the final part of your long-suffering route:"you drive forward as long as the road leads, and then you turn, as I point with my hand." Not to the right, not to the left, but "as I point with my hand." Don't take someone else's word for it, but trust your own eye, as they say, because it doesn't matter if you hang with one leg or walk with two.

Analyzing what you have heard, you independently come to an idea that has already reached someone: to preserve what has acquired the abbreviation NKS, an intangible cultural heritage (and that roadside shops, along with their mistresses, belong to it is an absolutely irrefutable fact for me personally), is not to preserve it, but to use it.

It's the same, gentlemen, with the material inheritance. You might think that museums hide rarities. You're right: they are hiding them. Therefore, I advise you to travel to a place where there is not just a museum, but an environment beyond time, and not an excursion, but a complete immersion.

Until now, there was a proverb. Hence the fairy tale.

Driving along the P1 between Volchkovichi and Cherkassy, you will notice a sign for Khodakov, turn along it — and without any magic tangles you will find not only a hut on chicken legs, but also a mirror for fortune-telling, and magic jerons, and stupas with brooms, and a miracle mill. The destination is 70 Rassvetnaya Street. A place known for the fact that the smallest mill in our country is located here. And it was created not today, but eight decades ago, in 1936. The gearbox, however, is the oldest-1889 year of origin. This mill still grinds grain the way it used to — in two ways: into floured flour and "thinly". Everything is solved by turning the "lamb", which either increases or decreases the gap between the millstones. I'm just trying to show that I know something.

Do you want to touch the past? You can even smell it here: it's enough to climb the steps into the middle of the mill. Or go to the Stork home cafe, where there is a cream sump on the shelf (a rare ceramic version), a shovel for planting bread in the oven in the corner, and flasks from the First World War hang on the wall. Glassware from the Jewish bench, a wooden oil pan, a piston for the sleeve, adapted for stuffing sausages... Mortars, oil pans, plaits, water lilies. I must clarify that I am not describing an agricultural estate and this text is not an advertisement. The owner of a collection of rarities collected (thanks, by the way, to travel) from all over the country, designer Vladimir Tsvirko brings out the past to force it to work — furiously and completely for free, and not to lie-hang-stand-grow old unnecessarily. The counting bones here perform the duties of balusters, huge forged nails (there are 24 pieces) are ready to "cut off" the minutes on the wooden clock. The chest has a mission to preserve Christmas toys - and just so you can see them! In winter, these bunny squirrels are hung on a live Christmas tree. A movie projector? And there is a movie projector: in the evenings, people can gather here in front of the screen to watch old silent movies for 20 kopecks. I'm telling you, it's total immersion! Have you ever touched a panel from the palace in Nesvizh? They won't let you do that there... And here, please. Have you seen the capitals of the Radziwillimont palace? And you won't see it anymore-the palace is destroyed. Except here, in the village of Khodakovo. To preserve a piece of this capital, Vladimir soaked it in water for six months."Earlier."

Framed under glass is a key and a piece of furniture upholstery from the Puslovsky Palace in Kosovo during its heyday. "I hope that someday someone will be interested in how threads used to be intertwined: texture, structure..."

In the library there is an expanded "Quiet Don", 1945 edition. Would you like to read? Stay here. And then the owner, if he's not too busy, will probably treat you to "magpies" with poppy seeds. And it will let you touch the embers that are still lying in the cast iron. And he will tell the story about the iron with the image of Leo Tolstoy.

There is a microscope and pince—nez on the desk in the office, and a row of inkwells on the shelf above it. Do you want to work in a friendly atmosphere? I repeat, this room is not for rent. But it is gladly provided to fellow creators. "That's it, Volodya, I'm not here," they say and close the door in front of him, the owner. Photographers and cinematographers especially like to work here. The entourage contributes to the creation of mystical scenes.

...The middle of the 17th century. The village is a new village, somewhere near Gorodeya. Ulya, a fortune teller, lives in one of the houses here. Ulyana, then. Saves children, treats adults and animals. He loves horses very much. Gracious. The sutra looks in a mirror of amazing beauty-light, light, with a lace "pediment" and floral trim. They say that anyone who looks at his imprint in it (even after three hundred years) will receive health, beauty and love.

Well, how can you not look into that mirror from the 17th century?.. I looked in.

A romantic

A journey is a journey, and the main thing in it is the road. Moving from one point of your interest to another, you will see all kinds of miracles. One day, instead of a combine harvester, a helicopter will meet, then literally in the middle of a cornfield there will be a cafe with a sign that says "open 24 hours." Who is it open to? That is "gold in the midst of gold" - oil rigs with straw coils mixed in. Then a turnoff to Dublin, then a pointer to Mars... One day, an unusual tree was noticed from afar: as if it were not bare, but also not in leaves. As we get closer, the leaves flutter and take off. It turned out to be a leafless tree (apparently frozen), but favored by sparrows. A fabulous tree. Still in front of my eyes.

To followers

If a travel enthusiast, having got out, say, in G129⟫, did not reach Nesvizh, then it is not a fact that the trip did not happen. A beautiful thought! It was planted in my head by Vladimir Tsvirko, the owner of the described outdoor gathering and chandeliers in the form of wheels and, as it turned out, a fellow traveler and colleague from Peru. His "pocket brochure" project "150 golden routes of my Belarus" began publication just this summer. Why is "mine"? He has already been asked this question. He replied like this: everyone reads "my Belarus", treating it personally. "It's so emotional..."This is a product exclusively for the practical traveler. Not a souvenir folio with beautiful images designed for a bookshelf or a foreign tourist to be amazed as much as possible, but pure utilities: sit down with a specifically selected brochure in the car in the navigator's seat, unfold it on your lap, and choose from the suggested points any in any sequence. Don't miss it!

Predictions

It happens that you're looking for almost noon, scouring around for nothing, for some manor, being amazed either by the history of its construction, or by the fate of its owners. At the same time, you don't pay enough attention to information about the current state, and therefore you don't imagine today's exterior, you start in every more or less suitable (because somehow similar) building (of much later, to put it mildly, origin) You can literally dream of this semi-legendary manor from afar. Especially if your navigator has my (through your own carelessness) arrogant name of Archibald and for this reason allows himself to do anything with impunity. But here's the most amazing thing: the mistake that inevitably comes to light when approaching a fake semi-legendary estate doesn't bother you at all. On the contrary, it's entertaining: what if after a hundred years or so, fans of meaningful travel will persistently look for this, as yet brand-new, manor with pylons and a belvedere?
