Ostrovets

It has been mentioned since 1468 as a settlement Inc. It has been a small town since 1642. It belonged to the Koritskys, the Gastholds, and the Korsaks. The Church of St. Nicholas stands on a high hill. Kozma and Demyan. For a while it belonged to the Orthodox believers. The temple was built in 1785 in the Baroque and neoclassical style. In 1910, another church was built of brick in the Gothic Revival style-the finding of the Holy Cross. The watermill is in good condition.
