Chernavchytsy

This Catholic church of St. The famous Tyszkiewicz and Czartoryski families of Sofia built in the Baroque style in 1678 at the Cistercian monastery. After the uprising of 1830-1831, the tsarist authorities closed both the monastery and the church. And after the suppression of the uprising of 1863-1864, the church was rebuilt as an Orthodox church. After the Second World War, the Soviet authorities closed the former church until the 2010s. Since 2011, the church has been operating as an Orthodox church. The roadside chapel of the early 18th century has been preserved.
