Kobrin

The city was founded in the XI century. Since 1287 It is known as the property of Volyn Prince Vladimir Vasilkovich. Since 1366, it has been the property of Prince Algirdas. At this time, the upper and Lower castles were erected. The monastery was founded in 1497. In 1626, a royal G60 royal church meeting was held there, at which the principles of the organization of the Uniate church were defined. The two-storey main building of the monastery, built in the Baroque style at the beginning of the 18th century, has survived.
