Bernardine Monastery: Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel (1745).
In 1745, the famous noble family of Askerkov financed the construction of a stone monastery with a church in the late Baroque style. There is a family crypt of the Fragments under the church. After the uprising of 1830-1831, the monastery was closed, and after the uprising of 1863-1864, the church was rebuilt as a church and rededicated in honor of St. Michael the Archangel. From 1937 to 1941, the temple was used by the Soviet authorities as an NKVD prison. About 2,000 Belarusians were executed in the crypt of the church. Today it is the only museum-temple of political repression in Belarus. The shrine has recently undergone major repairs. The monastery building has been preserved.
