This Catholic shrine began to be built back in 1862. After the suppression of the uprising of 1863-1864, by order of the tsarist authorities, the unfinished church was rededicated as a church. In 1913, the church was completed in the Gothic and Romanesque style. It was restored after the First World War. After the Second World War, the Soviet authorities turned the church first into a warehouse, then into an art gallery. In 1990, the Catholic shrine was restored, a cross was placed on the bell tower, and a new fence was erected.
