Sarya

There are huge ruins in front of us. These are the remains of the former Gilzen Palace. It was built of brick in the classical style back in 1782. Around the ruins there is a picturesque landscape park, one of the best in Vitebsk region. The hospital building, preserved from the former monastery of missionaries, was built of brick in 1759. The wooden church of St. George (1878) and the ruins of the foundation of the Trinity Church, built in 1783, have also survived to this day.
