The settlement has been known since the beginning of the 16th century. like royal property. In the 70s of the XVIII century, the construction of a Baroque manor house for A. Tiesenhaus, designed by architect D. Sack, may have begun here. In 1854, a wooden Uniate church in the Empire style was erected here. Most likely, after the uprising of 1863-1864, it was rededicated to the Orthodox Church of St. Alexander Nevsky.
