Slutsk

In 1834, the wooden church of St. Nicholas was built. The Virgin Mary in the style of folk architecture. In 1863, it was closed by the tsarist authorities and only in 1885 it began to operate again, but this time as the Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration. During the Second World War, the temple also operated as a church. Since 1956, the temple has had a composition of pesticides. In 1992, the church was opened to the faithful. Today, the shrine is in disrepair.
