Kolasovsky region

St. Peter's Church Anna in Columns was built in 1825 as a church in the classical style. By the time the poet was born, it was already an Orthodox church. The current Orthodox shrine in novy Sverzhna was also built as a church in 1743, but was rededicated as a church after the uprising of 1863-1864. There is also a church built in 1588. It was in one of these churches that little Konstantin was baptized, but it is not yet known which one.
