Khotimsk. Holy Lake

If we drive from Khotimsk through Besedovichi, then beyond the village of Yuzefovka, at the very beginning of the tract called the Mikhalinsky cordon, we can take another fairly good country road that will lead us through the forest to the Holy Lake. You can see how comfortable and windless it is here among the mixed sparse Forest. Numerous swamps and unnamed streams saturate it with fresh water. This priceless natural treasure is considered the largest lake in the entire area. It also has interesting legends that have survived to this day from the distant hoary antiquity.
