The building of the district court (XVIII century.

The district court building was built of brick in the classical style in the late 70s of the XVIII century. on the former Governor's Square. The archive premises were once located here. The building was partially rebuilt in 1883. It was significantly damaged during World War II and was in a dilapidated state by 1955. Today it is a museum of local lore.

Hospital building (1st half of the 20th century)

The eclectic hospital building with elements of classicism and Gothic was built of stone and brick in 1906. Vodopyanova. The two-storey building is decorated with a shallow risalite with a central entrance and lancet windows above it, which divides the building in about half. The rest of the windows are decorated in the same style. The building is still used for its intended purpose today.

The distillery building (1865

The distillery complex was built on the estate of the count's Chernyshev-Kruglikov family. In 1865, production was seasonal and brought the owners a large income along with animal husbandry and the sale of agricultural products. Under Soviet rule, the brewery resumed operations in the late 1930s. The production of various beverages and canned goods, including bakery products, was established, and since the early 1990s, the production of fruit and berry wines was launched.

The huge P-shaped college building was built of brick in the neoclassical style at the very end of the 19th century. It is located at 29 Vorovsky St.. if you go into the courtyard, you can see the partially rebuilt building of the former church connected to the main building of the school, which is covered by a small passage. Today, the architectural monument has been successfully restored, and an educational institution operates in it.

The building of the girls' gymnasium (early XX century).

On Dzerzhinsky St., 90 is the building of the former women's gymnasium, built at the expense of the Jewish community of the city. The building had classrooms, a room for various events and celebrations. The solid building of the city college can be seen at 39 Morozova Street. In Soviet times, an educational institution also operated here. Both buildings were erected at about the same time, at the end of the 19th century.

The girls' gymnasium was built in the classical brick style in the middle of the 19th century. It was built at the expense of one of the city monasteries. After the revolution of 1917, the building of the educational institution was turned into a prison, where in November 1917 The Provisional Government detained General Kornilov. Today it houses the A. Kuleshov Pedagogical Institute. The three floors of the former college are artfully decorated with decorative elements using curly brick cladding.

The P-shaped building is slightly sloping, has three high floors and restrained exterior decor. Today it is used for educational institutions. There are three spacious entrances from the courtyard.

Perhaps it was only a small farm that belonged to the once huge possessions of the famous Chapsky noble family, whose residence was nearby Stankovo. A significantly rebuilt residential building with huge vaulted basements, a brick cheese factory building and an amazing dairy building have been preserved in the former farm. The approximate time of construction is the middle of the 19th century.

Zgadvaetsa G170 zgadvaetsa was first mentioned in written sources in 1430. At that time, it was already a fairly large settlement owned by the Grand Duke of Lithuania Svidrigailo. Later it became the property of the Gasthold family. The ordinary buildings of the city are quite diverse. Some of the buildings have been preserved since the beginning of the 19th century. Among them is the former Treasury building, built in 1883.

Not far from the railway tracks in the area of Bobruiskaya St., we can see a two-story mill building with low arched windows made of brick. He is in a satisfactory condition. The townspeople claim that the mill once belonged to Pavel Palengut, a staff officer under the marching chieftain A. Dutov, an implacable opponent of the Soviet government, who died in 1933.

The gymnasium building was built in 1903. Even though the building survived the revolution and two world wars, it has hardly changed. Only the parapet at the edge of the roof, consisting of decorative brick pillars and an iron lattice, disappeared. During the final restoration, it may be restored.
