Even today, the Zaryanovka River is quite deep and fast. What can we say about spring leashes, especially at the beginning of the 19th century, when the large and small waterways of Belarus were much more abundant. According to one of the local legends, the stone mill on Zaryanovka was built in the early 19th century by a young man with money earned in Canada. It was only when he became wealthy that he was able to ask for the hand of a local noblewoman, whose father dreamed of a rich groom for his daughter.

If you walk from the village of Lavski through a field and go a little deeper into the forest, you can see the ruins of another stone watermill with two floors. It was built in the middle of the 19th century. and stands in a very picturesque place, where the river Plisa flows under the shadow of the forest.

A red brick watermill was built on the banks of the once stormy Turya River in the middle of the 19th century. It is currently abandoned and is likely to continue to deteriorate. The mill may soon disappear altogether.

The ground floor of this mill made of hewn rubble stone was built in 1838. The first floor of brick was erected a little later. Old-timers claim that it was originally made of wood. The mill is being restored today. Nearby, washing the walls of the mill, flows the Zhaterevka River, which was once so full that a mill of such power was built on its bank. Nearby, the Zhaterevka merges with the waters of our legendary Neman.

The decor of this watermill, built of stone and brick in 1850, immediately delights and attracts from afar. At first, you might think that these are the ruins of a rich chapel or gazebo in the park of a wealthy estate. And the places around it seem to have been specially invented by nature to give pleasure to the human eye. Judging by the number of fallen trees, there is plenty of room for beavers. These picturesque ruins are located on the banks of the Isloch River, always with fast streams.

The mill was built in 1849 from stone and brick on the Usa River. The structure has a very picturesque texture. And those who built this mill, and those who ordered its construction, probably also pursued another important goal-to please the human eye with the elegance of its walls. Today, the building has been privatized and restored.

In this flat area, you can see the graceful ribbon of the Sula River, and coastal shrubs with rare trees, and a pine forest in the distance, and the ruins of this mill, completely composed of large field stones. The place is worthy of the attention of artists, photographers, and all people who are in love with the picturesque places of our Belarus. The mill was built at the end of the XVIII century. To this day, several legends have been preserved about it.

These sturdy stone barracks in the Art Nouveau style were built for the Lancers of the Polish cavalry regiment in 1924 on the outskirts of the city. The complex included office buildings, storage rooms, armories, and stables. After the arrival of Soviet power in 1939, the barracks were also used by a military unit, and after World War II, the remaining premises were transferred to housing.

The Resurrection Cathedral (1874

In 1620, a wooden, possibly Uniate church was built on this site. It was burned down immediately after the uprising of 1863-1864. In 1874, the construction of a new brick Orthodox church in the retrospective Russian style was completed. Under Soviet rule, in 1937, the church was closed and used as a granary. During the Second World War, worship services resumed in the church. In 1907, a grandiose bell tower was erected in front of the temple in the same style as the church.

The Milepost (XVIII century

Near this village, on the side of the P25 road, you can see a rare historical monument that has been miraculously preserved - a milestone built of brick in the XVIII century. The pillar is badly damaged. Now it is surrounded by a low fence.

Holy Lake (G G107⟫, surroundings)

This relatively small natural body of water has a shape close to oval. The area around the lake is open and separated from large woodlands, there are several modest clean beaches. The lake is almost directly adjacent to the private development of the city. Judging by the presence of fishermen, there are fish in the lake. The shoreline of the lake is only 0.75 km.

In 2005, an agricultural estate was established in the Nikolin Island tract, five kilometers from the small village of Molcha, among the drained marshes. In 2006, an 1883 Shatrovka windmill was transported here from the village of Lyady in the Zhlobinsky district and partially restored.

Jewish Cemetery (Borisov)

Two copies of the Jewish cemetery have been preserved in Borisov in fairly good condition. Some of them are located in the area of Zaslonov and Vitebsk streets, others, larger ones, between Zarechny and Popov lanes, on a hill near the Berezina River.

The first burials in this cemetery may have been made in the middle of the 17th century. By the beginning of the 20th century. Half of Bykhov's population were Jewish. There was a Jewish school, a library, and a printing house. About ten synagogues were opened for believers. By the end of the 1930s, some of them were closed by the Soviet authorities and adapted for soldiers. After a while, the rest of the synagogues were closed.

Between Partizanskaya St. and the lane. Lugovoy is the cemetery of the once large Jewish community of Vileika. To see the cemetery, it is better to drive to the end of Lugovoy Lane and climb a steep hill. They were probably founded in the middle of the 14th century.

The first representatives of this people began to settle in the former town from the very beginning of the XVIII century. The wealthier Jews owned entire productions of various household goods, the poorer ones traded in small shops. The old Jewish cemetery may have been laid out near the settlement in the middle of the 18th century.

The Jewish community of Dumpling has been mentioned in written sources since the middle of the 16th century. Before World War II, one third of the city's population were Jews. The ancient Jewish cemetery is located near the road leading from the city to G G79.. The churchyard was probably founded in the early 17th century. During World War II, the Nazis exterminated almost the entire Jewish population of Kletsk. Cemeteries are in need of improvement today.
