The architecture of the Gomel Palace features both classical and eclectic styles. The palace was built in stages, starting in 1777, when the main, central building was erected. At the beginning of the 19th century. two wings have been erected. Until 1835, Count Rumyantsev was the owner, then representatives of the Count family of Paskevich became the owners of the palace. In 1837, the galleries, the sacristy and the tower of the palace were completed according to the project of the Polish architect A. Idzkowski. The palace was restored in 1925 and after the Second World War.
