Studenka

Here, on the right bank of the Berezina River, in November 1812, the crossing of the Great Army of Napoleon took place, accompanied by fierce battles between the French and Russian armies. The first monument on the famous Brilyovsky field was erected in 1912. It was destroyed in 1920. In 1997, a monument to fallen French soldiers was erected on the riverbank.
