In the mid-80s of the 19th century, there were only about five stone residential buildings in the city. Gradually, their number increased. With the opening of railway traffic from Mogilev to G G123 in 1902, a railway station was built in the city. Perhaps, at the same time, there is a need for a hotel building to appear in the city. It was built of brick on one floor and had a small shop in addition to the living rooms. Over time, the building was repeatedly completed. The appearance of the roof and gables was especially changed.
