The Filaret Stone
The Tuganovichi estate, which belonged to the Vereshchak family, once flourished here. T. Kosciusko, A. Mickiewicz, N. Orda, E. Ozheshko, and I. Domeyko stayed at their manor house. A. Mickiewicz met with the owners' daughter, Marilya Vereshchaka. The landscape park, the lime arbor "cradle of happiness” and the "Filaret Stone", where A. Mickiewicz and his friends took an oath of allegiance to the ideals of freedom, have partially been preserved from this unique place for Belarus. During the uprising of 1863-1864, an armory operated on the estate, for which the owner of the estate, K. Tuganovsky, paid with his life.
