Peter and Paul Church

This temple was already known at the end of the 17th century. After about 1830, a cuboid temple was added to the main temple, and a two-tiered bell tower was erected above it. The shrine underwent another renovation after 1864 - the domes were reconstructed and the proportions of the windows were changed. Today it is the Peter and Paul Church.

Peter and Paul Orthodox Church

Peter and Paul Orthodox church in the style of folk architecture with Baroque features was built of wood in 1792. Perhaps it was originally Uniate. At the beginning of the second half of the 19th century, the shrine was significantly rebuilt: the dome system was modified and symmetrical sacristy was added. At about the same time, a two-tiered bell tower was erected near the temple.

The lake, from which this settlement probably got its name, is located in the middle of the village. Peter and Paul Cathedral is located near the lake. The church was built in 1838 at the expense of Count Chapsky. It was built in the style of late classicism from brick. It was originally a church. It was restored in 1866. Nearby stood a stone chapel-bell tower. The manor house of an old noble manor has been preserved next to the church.

On the outskirts of the village, in an abandoned old Catholic cemetery in a chapel-tomb, you can see a small pointed pyramid or, rather, a pyramidal obelisk. It is often bypassed because there are many other attractions nearby.

Monument

Next to the road leading from Lyuban to Shemetovo, on the edge of the forest, there is a monument to the fallen soldiers of the First World War in the form of a small stele. It is made of hewn field stone and was installed here after about 1915. Nearby in the forest there is a cemetery surrounded by concrete posts with chains. It can be seen that the territory of the cemetery and the steles are being searched.
