Assumption Church

The Assumption Church in the retrospective Russian style was built of brick in 1903. A similar project of a religious building was used for the church in Blagovichi. Only the local temple was not so damaged by the reconstruction and restoration, and the exterior decor of the shrine still gives an idea of its original appearance.

It has been a famous settlement since 1560. According to legend, there was once a pagan burial mound on this site. The previous temple stood here until the end of the XVIII century. The Assumption Church, which stands here today, was built of brick in the retrospective Russian style in 1907. The prayer hall of the church was built in two tiers, with a narthex and an apse compactly adjacent to it.

The Assumption Church was built of stone and brick in 1863. Rabun offers magnificent views of the largest artificial reservoir in Belarus. Its surface area is 65 km2 and its length is 27 km. Its greatest depth is 14 meters. This man-made miracle was created in 1976 in Sosenka, near Rabuni, the reservoir can be crossed over a bridge.

According to legend, a Uniate church once stood here a long time ago. In 1865, an Orthodox wooden church in the style of folk architecture was erected. Perhaps it stands on the foundation of an old temple. A three-tiered bell tower towered over the vestibule of the new church. Today it is replaced by an amazing small tower in the form of a tall pyramid.

It is known that the settlements of the surrounding area and the local lands in 1479 belonged to Princess Anna, the widow of Prince Svidrigailo. The following owners are Zenovichi, Leshkevichi, Lipsky. The Assumption Church made of wood in the style of folk architecture was built in 1784. In 1888, the temple was restored, possibly rebuilt. A wooden bell tower was erected next to the shrine.

In 1869, the wooden Assumption Church was built in the style of folk architecture. The temple is not impressive in its size, but the two volumetric domes and the main proportions of the shrine are very precisely calculated during construction, which indicates the professional skill of the architects. The church is surrounded by ancient trees.

A fairly large school building has been well preserved-a two-story building with huge windows. This educational institution was built in 1896. An Orthodox church in the pseudo-Russian style of red brick, built in 1906, has also survived to this day. A holy spring was created near the temple in a swampy place.

In this village you can see another wooden Old Believer church. The Assumption Church was built in the lines of folk architecture at the very beginning of the twentieth century, perhaps before 1905. Only the domes of the shrine prevent it from being confused with an ordinary residential building. The windows in the church are decorated with carved architraves and shutters. Above the entrance is a simple lean-to canopy on struts.

In 1912, a wooden Assumption Church in the Art Nouveau style was built in this urban settlement. In the former gentry estate of the Lapatinskys, a brick wing built in 1874 and the ruins of a chapel-burial (mid-19th century) have been preserved. The Fedorovich estate is also located here. A stone manor house (1903) and a two-story water mill built of brick in 1922 have been preserved from it. The stone church in honor of the icon "Joy of All Who Sorrow" is also worth noting.

The Assumption Monastery was founded recently, at the very end of the twentieth century, but an ancient religious building has been preserved on its territory in its original form. This is the church of St. Elijah, built of brick in the pseudo-Russian style in 1880. The monastery is surrounded by masonry with buttresses and gates, built at the very end of the 19th century. The church stands majestically on the left bank of the Dnieper River, reflecting in its waters.

Zaluchye Folk Park

"In Zaluchye, Vladislav and Pavlina are trying to farm on their own: fields are being cultivated, vegetable gardens are being cultivated, medicinal herbs are being grown and harvested for sale in a secular pharmacy. Kudinovichi Industrial Park

Vladislav's parents moved here in 1831. His first classes with a home teacher were held here. The boy was being prepared for admission to the Nesvizh county school at the Dominican monastery. Having passed the exams perfectly, the young Detective entered the second grade immediately. For the first time, the boy visited Nesvizh with his father, the memories of which an adult later immortalized in poetic form. In the second year of his studies (1835), the tsarist authorities, frightened by the uprising of 1830-1831, closed the school.

Here Vladislav helps his parents with household chores without much zeal and is looking for any opportunity to pursue his vocation. He reads a lot -perhaps it was in the Markhachov region that he first showed his ability to compose, his desire to study folklore and architectural features of his native land. In 1841, an 18-year-old boy was sent from here to work at G129⟫.

Tulenka Food Park

The village and its surroundings probably still remember our famous countryman. Leaving the Zaluchye farmyard to his son, his parents moved here in 1844, where they also rented a farmyard. In 1853, Syrokomlya and his wife came here from Vilna for Catholic carols. This was his last visit to these places, although earlier, when Vladislav and his parents lived next door to each other, he and his wife most likely visited there several times.

At a distance from populated areas, next to a country road on a gentle hill, the family cemeteries of the Pavlovsky family have been preserved. They are located closer to the village of Puzynovtsy. Eliza Ozheshko's father, uncle and sister are buried here. The famous writer often came here at the end of her life and spent a lot of time here. In 1957, with the support of the Poles, these national monuments were restored.

These unique cemeteries have been known since the end of the 18th century. This is an ancient Catholic Acropolis, moved outside the city at that time. Many researchers compare it to the Rosu cemetery in the Lithuanian capital. In this cemetery you can see the grave of the famous Belarusian writer, social activist, participant in the uprising of 1863-1864. Eliza Ozheshko. Her mother and husband are also buried here. The cemetery also houses the grave of the famous artist Maria Galich.

The outhouse

These large-scale ruins can still be saved in order to multiply our national treasury with another architectural masterpiece. The ruins of the Nitoslavsky manor house, built in the neoclassical brick style in 1862, have been preserved in the Ancient Park. Several residential buildings and a small outbuilding have survived to this day in good condition.
