To this day, several religious buildings of the Jewish religion have been preserved in wonderful condition in the city. One synagogue is located on the street. Kirov. Photographs of the early twentieth century. We managed to preserve the picturesque and exquisite exterior of this religious building of the Jewish religion before it was completely rebuilt. The synagogue was erected in 1884. It can be seen on Sovetsky Pogranichnikov St., 52. several arched windows from the back of the building have been preserved, giving a faint idea of its rich original decor.

This eclectic brick synagogue with elements of classicism is also called the Great Synagogue. The building is really impressive in its size. The synagogue was built in a spacious courtyard near the road in the middle of the 19th century. There is information that the synagogue was built in 1852. At one time, a beverage bottling plant operated in this religious building.

The basement is the tomb of the Vankovichi

Here, in the former estate, which has not been preserved to this day, the famous painter Valenty Vankovich was born in 1800, the author of the famous painting "Mickiewicz on the Ayu-Dag rock” in 1828. In the ancient Catholic cemetery, you can see the dilapidated crypt of the Vankovich family, built of brick in 1879.

The settlement has been known since the middle of the 16th century under the name Kamen-Kharetsky. After that, it was the property of the Tyshkevich family. In the ancient Christian cemetery, located, according to legend, on the site of a pagan temple, the ruins of the tomb cellar of one of the last owners of the former estate, the Zhebrovsky gentry, have been preserved. The building is in urgent need of conservation.

Sculptures in Nesvizh can be found at every turn: in the park area, near ponds, on the territory of the palace, on the streets and in the squares of the city. The statues are concise, tasteful, and carry a deep historical meaning. All sculptures, from the memorial stone erected in honor of the laying of the parks, to individual sculptures dedicated to the black Maiden and Simona Budny, are an integral part of this tourist Mecca of Belarus.

Spaso-Euphrosyne Monastery

This monastery is the oldest active monastery in the lands of Belarus. It was founded in the 1120s as an Orthodox church. After 1579, it belonged to the monks of the Jesuit Order. Since the middle of the 17th century. the monastery became Orthodox again. And since 1841 it was finally approved as an Orthodox convent. In 1910, the relics of Saint Euphrosyne of Polotsk were transported here from the Kiev Caves Lavra. In 1928, the Soviet authorities closed the shrine, and in 1990. It was reopened to the faithful.

The Transfiguration Church was built of brick in the retrospective Russian style in the first decade of the twentieth century. Perhaps the church was built on the site of an old wooden Uniate shrine, known since the middle of the XVIII century. The ancient iconostasis has been preserved in the temple, which was moved from the Uniate church in the 60s of the XIX century and slightly rebuilt.

In 1869, according to one of the standard projects, the Transfiguration Church was built in the retrospective Russian style of rubble stone and brick. In the 1930s, the temple was closed by the Soviet authorities. It was partially destroyed during the Second World War. The roof and domes of the temple were mostly damaged. In 1998, the shrine was rebuilt and opened to the faithful.

Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Church

As a place known since 1450, since 1641, the inhabitants of the town have used Magdeburg law and their own coat of arms. In 1875, the Church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour was built of stone and brick in the eclectic style. The buildings of the synagogue courtyard (19th century) are perfectly preserved: the Great Synagogue and the Small Synagogue. It is worth taking time for the ancestral buildings of the 19th century.

Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Church

In written sources, the settlement has been mentioned since 1580. The property of the Ozheshko family, then the estate was owned by beetles. In the center of the village stands the Transfiguration Church of wood in the style of folk architecture, built on the site of an ancient temple in 1810. in front of the temple, the family burial of Beetles, former lords of the estate, participants in the uprising of 1863-1864, has been preserved.
